About Cocoa.Net, Inc.
History
Cocoa.Net was founded in 2002 by Danté Bell upon his departure from Sun Microsystems where he was employed in the Professional Services organization for two (2) years. Prior to Sun, he worked with one of the premier marketing organizations, Young & Rubicam, as an IT Director.
Areas of Expertise
With his vast background in database technologies as an employee of Informix and contractingas database architect for Sybase, he was able to marry the database technologies with a vast experience with different operating systems, server and storage hardware.
Cocoa.Net takes these areas of expertise and adds on project management and ITIL disciplines in order to focus entire IT organizations on Highly Available Solutions for their customer most critical infrastructure and applications
Future Endeavors
Cocoa.Net is expanding into more creative type services. This include Photography and web hosting. Web and e-mail hosting allows us to create web-sites using our creative media skills learned from Young & Rubicam. This site is designed using these creative marketing techniques. Web and e-mail hosting also can include WordPress blogs! A single blog for your company if you want or expanded blogs so that your employees and coleagues can blog using WordPress in their own web space under your domain!
Interesting Side Projects
An interesting side project is the implementation of Jinzora2 for Danté's Inferno so that The Inferno Master can have his music collection available to him while on the road for Cocoa.Net. We are experimenting with various media formats and have settled on FLAC for now. Stay tuned!
Danté also has a background in racing Mustangs for Ford Motor Company and Steeda Motorsports in SCCA racing.
